The Waring blender MBB518 can tackle anything you throw into it; ice, fruit, protein powder, soups, dips, you name it. Need to cool off with a frozen drink? Do you make many smoothies? Want a bar blender for your next party when you fix Margaritas for a crowd? Want a dip for an unexpected get together? This blender will withstand as much as what ever you will need it to.

Waring is the best identified name in blenders for a reason. Bandleader and inventor Fred Waring introduced the initial blender in 1936. They required something to make those frozen daiquiris!  Waring even now sets the standard that all other brands try to imitate right now for the reason, they’re well created, reliable and powerful.

I bought this one originally for a party. It was a summertime bash and I wanted to be capable to produce Margaritas and daiquiris for a crowd out around the patio. I needed a blender that would stand up to crushing ice for our frozen treats with no overheating or wimping out. This one did the job much better than I could have wanted. It churned out batch right after batch of crushed ice and frozen drinks. That celebration has turned out to be an annual tradition and my Waring blender still holds center stage on the patio bar and has in no way let me down.

When it is not mixing party drinks it is making other frozen treats for the summer. Fruit slushies to cool off with over a hot summer time afternoon, berries, juice or lemonade and ice blended up into a cold frozen treat to cool off with or to pop into the freezer for an ice pop for later.

Close friends stop by to get a cold drink, children needing a snack. Require a dip to go with that fruit slushie or margarita? Toss some cream cheese or sour cream in to the blender with olives and garlic or pesto or salsa or what ever else you’ve on hand that might be tasty. Whirl and blend and presto, add crackers and slushie for an instant celebration over a summer time afternoon.

The one concern I had when I purchased the Waring blender MBB518 was that it would be hard clean up , but the glass jar and lid rinse out simply or pop in to the dishwasher. If you need some severe cleaning in the blades, several drops of dishwashing liquid, water and a quick swirl take care of the toughest trouble.
